Liepert, William (3 Feb 1852 - 17 JUL 1898)

Died, at his home in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., on Sunday, July 17th, 1898, of cancer of the stomach, William Liepert, in the 46th year of his age.

Mr. Liepert was born in Berinke, nine miles from the city of Berlin, in the Province of Brandenburg, Germany,, Feb. 3rd, 1852; he came to America in 1879; was united in marriage with Emilie Bratz in 1883, and came to this place about five years ago, and for the past year has suffered with the complaint that caused his death. Besides his wife he leaves seven children to mourn his death, the youngest of which was born but two days before he died.

The funeral was held from Zion Church on Tuesday, July 19th, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
