A small blaze at J. W. Cirkel & Sons dry kilns about 10 a.m. Tuesday brought out the people and fire department in double quick time. The factory hose attached to their 500 barrel tank put out the fire, however, in short order. It was a narrow escape for the entire plant. Sparks from the smoke stack is supposed to have caused the fire.
