Kuehl, Marie (1867 - 14 JAN 1899)

Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday morning, Jan. 14th, 1899, of pneumonia, Marie, wife of August Kuehl, in the 32nd year of her age.

Mrs. Kuehl was born at Munich, Bavaria, nearly thirty-two years ago, but for the past five years she had lived in Milwaukee, where her first husband, Mr. Kirschmier, died about three years ago. She was united in marriage Nov. 18th, with August Kuehl, at the home where she died. Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves a little son by her former marriage, three years old, to mourn her loss.

The funeral was held from her late home on Monday afternoon, Rev. Zutz officiating.

The blow is a peculiarly sad one to Mr. Kuehl, coming as it does within two months of his marriage, and he will certainly have the sympathy of the entire community.
