Schultz, Wilhelmina (29 MAR 1826 - 21 JAN 1899)
Died, at her home in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., Saturday evening, Jan. 21st, 1899, of old age and general debility, Wilhelmina, wife of William Schultz, in her 73rd year.
Wilhelmina Krause was born in Prussia, March 29th, 1826; she was united in marriage with William Schultz in Nov. 1846; and came with her husband to America in 1872, and settled in Sheboygan Co., Wis. In the fall of 1879 they came to this place and settled on a farm in the town of Colby, where they have since lived and where the aged husband still remains awaiting the summons to join her on the other shore.
She was the mother of 7 children, all of whom are living, six sons, Fred and August in the town of Colby, William and Charles in Sheboygan Co., Ernst at Staples, Minn., Gottfried at St. Charles, Minn., and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Tesmer in the town of Colby.
Mrs. Schultz has been an invalid for a number of years and for the past several years has been confined to the house and the grater portion of that time to the bed.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from St. John’s Evangelical Church, Rev. M. Zutz officiating.
