Molle, Vernetta (Marriage - 29 Dec. 1951)
A rust-colored suit with dark brown accessories and highlighted with a corsage of yellow roses was chosen by Miss Vernetta Molle, daughter of Adolph Molle, Owen, for her marriage Dec. 29 to Duane Phillips, Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Uno Phillips, Owen, Wis. Dr. K. O. Crosby officiated at the 2 o’clock ceremony in St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church, Owen, Wis.
Miss Delores Hendrickson, Spencer, cousin of the bride, as maid of honor, modeled a brown suit with green accessories. Mrs. Russell Phillips, Owen, in a green suit with brown accessories, was bridesmaid for her new sister-in-law. Both completed their ensembles with corsage composed of yellow and white carnations.
Gaylerd Fakes, Owen, was best man and Russell Phillips was groomsman.
The newlyweds greeted friends and relatives at a reception in the Owen Community Hall followed the ceremony.
Both are graduates of Owen High School and will reside at 3022 Wilson Ave., Chicago, where the groom is employed by the Decatur Cartage co.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Schuette and son, Gary, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Molle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Molle and family, Atwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hendrickson and family, Spencer.
