UNITY COUPLE OBSERVE 51ST ANNIVESARY Unit - Today Mr. and Mrs. John Scheer are quietly celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary at their home here. After their marriage in Appleton on April 19, 1900, they took up farming near Curtiss, Wis. After living there for 45 years they came to Unity.

Nine children were born to them, two of whom are deceased.

Those living are Mrs. Leonard (Irma) Leamanczyk, Mrs. Walter (Alma) Henn, and Merlin Scheer, Milwaukee; Orlan Scheer, Spencer; Mrs. Joe (Lorinda) Schultz and Mrs. Linda Stange, Loyal, and Mrs. Harvey (Hilda) Wittlinger, Curitss.

There are 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
