Horner, Charles John (5 Jan. 1886 - 8 May 1953)

Unity - Funeral services for Charles John Horner, 67, who died Friday, May 8, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, South Green Grove. The Rev. R. J. Scholz officiated and burial was made in the Beaver Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Henry and Ernest Molle, Alvin Goutcher, John Franke, and Walter and Art Schuette.

Mrs. Bernice Miller sang "The Lord is My Shepherd" and "Nearer My God to Thee," with Mrs. Paul Woik as organist.

Out-of-town relatives and friends at the services included Mr. and Mrs. Frank Steckler and Mrs. Marion Burkhardt, La Crosse; Mrs. Emil Radandt, Rita Radandt, Mrs. Lloyd Nelson, and Rudolph Horner, Racine; Mrs. Hans, Kolpanen, Milwaukee; Miss Emma Horner, Los Angeles, Calif.; Herman Horner, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Margaret Horner, Eau Claire.
