Montour, Elsie (22 JUL 1899)
Married, at Prentice, Wis., on Saturday, July 22nd, 1899, by G.D. Myers, Esq., Mr. Chas. W. Baker of this city, and Miss Elsie Montour of Medford.
Mr. Baker was formerly from Loyal, Clark Co., but came here at the starting up of the stave mill, to superintend the cutting machine, being an experienced stave cutter. His older acquaintances speak highly of him, and since his advent here he has conducted himself in a quiet, orderly manner and made friends, all of whom will wish him and his bride a long, happy and prosperous life. Mr. Baker returned here Sunday afternoon, his wife stopping at Medford, but as soon as he can find a place to go to housekeeping, Mrs. Baker will join him here.
