Max Kronschnabel was born in Bavaria, Germany on May 22nd, 1876 and died at Loyal, Clark County, Wis. on Dec. 6th, 1911. He came to America with his parents in 1881 and was a resident of the town of Mayville, Clark County until five years ago, when he moved to Loyal, which place he has since made his home, being the local agent for the Leinenkugel Brewing Co. while there. In 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Etten, who, with six children and a father and three brothers, mourn his untimely death. About a week before he died he was taken sick with pneumonia, which together with brain fever, which he was stricken with later, resulted in his death. It was state last week that he died of pneumonia and typhoid fever, but it should have been pneumonia and brain fever. The remains were brought here for burial Friday, the funeral taking place Saturday forenoon from the St. Louis Catholic Church.

The following people from out of town were present at the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. B. Etten, Fred, Barney, Gerry, John and Miss Lena Etten of Boyd, Christ Sorenson of St. Paul, John Geiger of Loyal, Frank Geiger of Marshfield, Matt Leinenkugel of Chippewa Falls, Aloys Braun, John Beaver and Wm. Schrier of Loyal, and Theodore Schneider of Marshfield.
