Peterson, Alletia (18 JUL 1853 - 12 DEC 1900)
Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday evening, Dec 12th, 1900, Alletia, wife of Louis Peterson, in the 48th year of her age.
Alletia O’Brien was born at Seippio, Cayuga Co., N.Y., July 18th, 1852; while an infant came with her parents to Portage, Wis., where she was united in marriage with Frank Moll of Wilton, in 1876; by this marriage there were born two children, Bernardina and Claude F., both of whom were at the bedside of their mother when she breather her last; Mr. Moll died at Ashland in 1882.
In 1887, she was united in marriage with Louis Peterson, who, with three small children, a son and two daughters, survive here.
The family has only lived in this city about two years, yet there are many friends here, who sincerely mourn her death, as they had come to know her as a kindly, genial companion and friend, a true wife and a devoted mother.
The remains were taken to Ashland, Saturday, where the funeral was held.
The bereaved family has the sympathy of this entire community.
