McMonagle, William M. (11 FEB 1884 - 11 MAY 1901)
Died, at the home of his parents in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), of pneumonia, William M., second son of Mr. and Mrs. T.M. McMonagle, aged 17 years and 3 months.
Willie McMonagle was born in the city of Wausau, Feb. 11th, 1884, and came with his parents to this city when little more than a month old, and this has been his home since, with the exception of a short time that the family lived at Fairchild, Wis.
Willie was a good, honest and industrious youth, and was well liked by all his schoolmates. He was a member of the third years class in the high school and was a devoted student.
The funeral was held from St. Kilian’s Church, Monday morning, Rev. G. Vadder officiating, and the remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, the high school and grammar departments attended in a body and accompanied the remains to the cemetery, voicing the appreciation in which he was held by his teachers and fellow students.
Of the immediate family he leaves to mourn his death, besides his parents, one brother and four sisters.
