Tillman, Hanna (30 Sept. 1880 - 1957)
Owen - Services will be held here Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Hanna Tillman, 76, Owen, who died at her home Tuesday morning after a lingering illness.
The Rev. Ralph D. Claybaugh will officiate at the rites and burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Withee.
The former Hanna Granstrom was born in Nyborg, Sweden, Sept. 30, 1880, and was married there in 1898 to Gust Piekola, who preceded her in death in June, 1949. They came to this country in 1904 and settled in Ely, Minn. In 1914 they moved to the town of Beaver farm now operated by their son, Ted Piekola, and in 1948 moved to Owen, Wis. Her second marriage to Peter Tillman took place in 1953 at Iron River. He survives her.
Other survives are three children, Ted, whose address is Loyal, Mrs. Adolph (Jennie) Brecker, Owen and Mrs. William (Clara) Davel, Loyal; two brothers, Fred Granstrom, Seattle, Wash., and Hjalmer Granstrom, of Sweden; one grandson, Owen Brecker, Key West, Fla.; and two stepchildren, Paul Tillman, El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Russell (Myrtle) Rowley, Orr, Minn.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by two children.
