Horner, Edward (18 July 1887 - 1958)

Loyal - Services will be held here Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Myre Funeral Home for Edward Horner, 70, route 1, Owen, who died of a heart ailment Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, Wis. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning this evening.

Burial will take place in the town of Beaver Cemetery following the final rites at which the Rev. Wendell Bennets, Methodist minister, will officiate.

Mr. Horner was born in Beaver Township July 18, 1887, and lived in Clark County all his life. At the age of 18 he purchased the farm where he had since resided. He married Martha Witte Sept. 24, 1919, in the town of Unity. She survives him.

Other survivors are three children, Emil, at home, Margaret and Orville of Eau Claire; two grandchildren; a brother, Herman, Detroit, Mich.; and four sisters, Mrs. David Pepin, Miss Emma Horner, and Mrs. Chauncey Johnston, and Mrs. Clarence Taylor, all of California.
