Witte, Richard H. (1886 - 22 Feb. 1962)

Colby - Funeral services were held Feb. 26 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Grove for Richard H. Witte, 76, who died Feb. 22. The Rev. Howard Timmerman officiated and burial wad made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ernest Kowalk, Emil Luchterhand, Edgar Laux, Harold Block, Rudy Scholzel and Roy Hardrath.

Barbara Hein, Judy Widmer, Arlene Marten, LaVonne Levenhagen, Joel Neuman and Dorothy Neuman were in charge of the flowers.

Mrs. Timmerman sang "Beautiful Savior" and "Rock of Ages."

Out-of-town people attending the services were Mrs. George Foelsch, Patsy and Michael Foelsch, and Ronald Bloom, Moberly; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kauffmann, Mishicot; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zik, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Musil, Jay and Joy Musil, Mrs. Spencer Hansen, Mrs. Leona Ruzek, Harlan Ruzek and Walter Ruether, Manitowoc.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Raeck, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Raeck and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Wilke, Jims Falls; Edward Cammers and Lillian Hanny, Genoa City; Margaret Horner, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, Menomonie, and Mrs. Laura Raeck, Madison.
