Draheim, Adela (7 Feb. 1888 - 1965)

Owen - Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home here for Mrs. Adela Draheim, 77, route 1, Owen, who died Friday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Reader J. Petram of Racine will officiate and burial will be made in St. Paul’s Cemetery in the town of Green Grove.

The body will repose at the funeral home beginning this evening.

The former Adela Knuth was born Feb. 7, 1888, in Calumet County, Wis. Her marriage to William Draheim took place in Manitowoc County June 10, 1908. The couple made their home in the Atwood community (Beaver Township) until 1922. Mr. Draheim operated a garage there. Later they operated farms northwest of Withee and near Longwood. Eight years ago they retired and moved to their present home at Longwood.

Mrs. Draheim is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Anita) Vater, route 1, Withee; and Mrs. Elmer (Irene) Yeomans, Minneapolis, a son, Walter, route 1, Owen; a sister, Miss Elsie Knuth, Milwaukee; a brother, Herman Knuth, Howard Grove; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Two sons preceded her in death.
