Kovatch, Frank C. (6 Oct. 1902 - 1968)
Medford - Funeral services for Frank C. Kovatch, 65, town of Little Black, who died at his home Monday after a lengthy illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Chruch in the town of Holway with the Rev. Roger Tellock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ruesch Funeral Home until Wednesday noon and then at the church.
Mr. Kovatch was born at Winona, Ill.; on Oct. 6, 1902, and came to the Owen area with is parents. He attended Owen area schools and in 1936 came to Taylor County where he operated the Pioneer Cheese Factory and a grocery store. He served with the U. S. Army following World War I. He was married to Laura Price on Dec. 31, 1927.
Surviving him are his wife; a son, Kenneth, St. Paul Park, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Russell Thompson, Duluth; four grandchildren; five brothers, John, Mike and Charles Kovatch, all of Owen; Walter Kovatch, Abbotsford; Fred Kovatch, Faribault, Minn.; and two sisters, Mrs. John Arnic and Mrs. William O’Leary, both of Milwaukee.
