Molle, Albert L. (7 April 1905 -12 July 1978)

Robert Ruprich was in charge of funeral services for Albert L. Molle, age 71, Abbotsford, on Thursday, July 15.

The 1:30 p.m. services were held at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. Burial followed in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Molle died Monday, July 12, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Mr. Molle was born in Town of Green Grove in April 7, 1905. He received his education in the Town of Beaver and Town of Green Grove Schools.

He married the former Lena Awe on Sept. 25, 1935, in Withee.

They farmed in the Town of Green Grove until 1949. They then moved to Colby and operated the North Side Bar until 1951. He farmed in the Town of Unity until 1963. In 1963 he moved to Medford and operated Molle’s Bar until 1973. The couple moved to Abbotsford upon retirement.

Mr. Molle was treasurer of the Elmwood School and president of the Farmers Co-op Cheese Factory for a number of years.

He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Darlene) Rachu, Colby; Mrs. Leroy (Cairgene) Kauth, Greenwood, and Linda at home; and nine grandchildren and one brother, Ernest, Unity.
