Klemm, Richard (1896? - 23 APR 1902)
Richard, the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klemm of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., died Wednesday evening, April 23rd, 1902, of appendicitis. The little fellow had been a great sufferer from that terrible complaint about a week, when the attending physician came to the conclusion that an operation was the only thing that would save the boy’s life, and it was a question if that would. An operation was performed Wednesday, but it was too late, the vermiform appendix was a mass of pus, and the boy so weakened he could not rally and died that evening.
The funeral was held from St. Paul’s Church, Saturday, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends and acquaintances.
