Haslea, Gottfried (26 OCT 1823 - 25 NOV 1902)
Died, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul Tesmer, in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Tuesday afternoon, Nov 25th, 1902, of heart failure, Mr. G. Haslea, in the 80th year of his age.
Mr. Haslea was one of the old and respected settlers of the town of Colby, Clark Co. A few years ago he sold his farm just west of the city limits and has since made his home a part of the time with a son at Neenah, but for the past year with his daughter in this city. He was a kind, Christian gentleman honored by all who knew him. He leaves a brother, three sons and two daughters.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from Zion Lutheran Church.
