Fiedler, Veronika (1835 - 1 JAN 1904)
On the evening of Jan. 1st, 1904, at 18 minutes past eight Mrs. Veronika Fiedler died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Frank Moore at Curtis, Clark Co., Wis. Mrs. Fiedler was born in 1835 and at the time of her death was 68 years of age. She came to Curtiss over 21 years ago and there married the late William Fiedler, who as we all remember, was killed in the sawmill at Curtiss two years ago.
Up to four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Fiedler lived on their large farm near Curtiss, but feeling the burdens of advancing years coming upon them, left the farm and moved to Curtiss in order that they might live a retired life.
After Mr. Fiedler’s death Mrs. Fiedler made her home with her son, Joseph Zechel, who died Jan. 15, 1903, and since that time and up to the time of her death, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Moore at Curtiss, Wis.
She leaves to mourn her death, one daughter, Mr. Frank Moore and a half sister, Mrs. Franz Umlauft, who lives two miles east of Dorchester, Clark Co.
Mr. and Mrs. Moore wish to thank their friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted them in their late bereavement.
