Burhop, William J. (18 MAY 1883 - 25 JAN 1904)

William J. Burhop died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Chas. Lindner in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Monday, Jan. 25th, 1904, of consumption, aged 20 years, 8 months and 7 days.

Willie was born in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., on the 18th day of May, 1883, where he made his home until about three years ago when his parents removed to this city. His father, Mr. C. Burhop, died about two years ago.

Willie was a bright, intelligent young man and a friend to all who became acquainted with him. He leaves an aged mother, two sisters and three brothers and hosts of friends to mourn his early death.

The funeral was held this afternoon from the Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. A. Kuring officiating, na d the remains interred in Colby Cemetery.
