The engagement of Nicole Blume and Martin Walchak is announced.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Scott and April Blume of Unity. She attends the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is employed at Happy Joe's.
Her fiance is the son of Richard and Karen Walchak of La Crosse. He is a 2001 graduate of Onalaska High School and is employed at McDonald's.
A June 16, 2007, wedding is planned.
