John Isaac Taylor, son of James Alexander Taylor and Mary Mandana Buzzell Taylor, was my 2nd great grandfather. He was born 24 Aug 1863 in Chippewa Falls, WI and died 7 Apr 1902 in Battle Creek, MI.

It appears that he resided in Chippewa Falls until sometime before 1886. On 18 Sep 1886 he married Ida Estell Gould (my 2nd great grandmother) in Mitchell, South Dakota. Sometime before 1900, he moved to Battle Creek, MI and resided there for the remainder of his life. He was a cook. He died at the age of 38 from acute lung trouble/pneumonia. He died very suddenly at his home sitting in a rocking chair. He left behind his wife Ida Estell Gould Taylor, and two girls, Mary Mandana Taylor (my great grandmother) and Mabel L Taylor.  Mary Hsu
