Pieper, Mary (23 SEP 1859 - 4 DEC 1905)

Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Monday afternoon, Dec. 4th, 1905, after an illness of nearly four years, Mary, beloved wife of August Pieper, in the 47th year of her age.

Deceased was born in the town of Theresa, Dodge Co., Wis., Sept. 23rd, 1859, and was united in marriage, July 14th, 1880, to August Pieper, who survives her, as do also six children, Alvina, Anna, Willie, Arthur, Lydia and Arnold. In November the family moved to Colby, Mr. Pieper having previously purchased the Colby House Property on Front St., and during their year’s residence in this city made many friends who will sympathize with this grief stricken family.

The funeral will be held from Zion’s Lutheran Church this Thursday afternoon, at one o’clock, Rev. Lugenheim officiating. Interment at Colby Cemetery.
