Mrs. M. Lemerond, of Marinette, is visiting relatives here for the holidays.
Miss Callie Shafer of Colby is visiting with the Courier family, here this week.
Gen. E. S. Bragg is the favorite of all, for the Senate, in this neck o' the woods.
The thermometer indicated in the neighborshood of 15 below zero all day Sunday last.
Rev. Thos. Bigger of St. Croix Falls, visited his daughter Mrs. Rena Adams on Tuesday last.
A good team weighing 2,900 for sale cheap, also sleighs, harness and wagon. Time if desired................Peter Schroeder
Trade in Christmas goods has not been as brisk as in former years, people being too busy nowadays.
Mr. and Mrs. B. Broeder are down from their homestead near Ingram, visiting relatives and friends during the holidays.
A New Years dance will be held at Hipke & Gerbing's hall Saturday evening Dec 31 for the benefit of the Skanninavian Brass Band. Everybody invited. Tickets 50c.
