Riplinger, John N. (21 Dec. 1881 - 27 Dec. 1934)
Masonic funeral rites were held Sunday at the Schiller Funeral home for John N. Riplinger of Augusta, whose death from heart trouble occurred at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, Dec. 27. Mr. Riplinger, who had been ill for more than a year, was well known in this city, having sold automobiles here about a year and a half ago. While here he made is home with his son O. K. Riplinger. More recently he was employed by the Farmers Co-Operative Oil Station at Augusta.
He was a man of genial disposition and made a great many friends while a resident of Neillsville, Wis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Osseo. Mr. Riplinger was born Dec. 21, 1881, at Edson, Wis.
Survivors are his widow and sons, Edward of Augusta, and O. K. Riplinger, of Neillsville; his mother Mrs. Nick Riplinger, and brother Mat. of Oregon, Ill., Arthur, brother, Boyd, Wis., sisters, Mrs. Joe Kleckner, of Cloquet, Minn., and Mrs. Carrie Kerin, of Green Bay, all of whom were here for the funeral. Others from away who were here were Robert Kerin, of De Pere, and Mrs. Emma Snow, of Minneapolis.
Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
