Dorst, Mabel (Marriage - 29 Dec. 1934)
Mr. Albert R. Huetel and Miss Mabel Dorst, R. N. were united in marriage Dec. 29, in Milwaukee, Rev. Franke officiating. They were attended by Miss Mildred Werner, bridesmaid, and Gunnor Olson best man, both of Milwaukee.
The bride wore a dress of red silk crepe with a corsage bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a dress of green silk with a corsage bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. The men wore boutonnieres of corresponding colors.
A supper was served at the groom’s home for the bride party, after which a reception was given at which about twenty-five couples were present.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Marie Huetel of Milwaukee. He is a press operator by trade and has been employed for the past five years by the Louis Allis Co., of Bay View.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Dorst, of Granton. She is a registered nurse and has been employed in Neillsville and vicinity for some time, during the past year having employment in the Neillsville hospital regularly or at intervals, where her excellent qualities and fine training was much appreciated by patients and mangers.
The young couple will make their home in Milwaukee after Feb. 1.
