Dwyer, Frank (19 Dec. 1859 - 13 Jan. 1935
Frank Dwyer, son of John and Catherine Dwyer, was born at North Port, Waupaca County, Wis., on Dec. 19, 1859, and died at his home in Neillsville, early Sunday morning, Jan. 13, 1935, following an illness of several months.
At one year of age the deceased came with his parents to Clark County and lived on the farm in the Town of Grant, during his early life. At the death of his father in the year of 1890, Mr. Dwyer took over the homestead which he farmed until 1901. During his young manhood and for years later he engaged quite extensively in logging in the winter time.
Since 1901 he has made his home in Neillsville, being the proprietor of a meat market for many years and for 11 years ending in the summer of 1934, he was janitor of the North Side School. In the year of 1890, on Nov. 4; he was united in marriage to Miss Julia Kapka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. martin Kapka, and to them two children were born, Robert, of Neillsville, and Edna, Mrs. Milo Chapman, of Milwaukee, Wis.
Though Mr. Dwyer had a quiet and retiring disposition, he had many friends and was a highly respected citizen of our community. He is survived by his wife, two children mentioned above, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Dwyer home on North Grand Avenue on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Rev. P. B. White officiating, and burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery.
