Honzik, Libby (Marriage - 4 May 1935)

Charles Matousek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vac. Matousek of the town of Levis, and Miss Libby Honzik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Honzik, of the same town, were united in marriage at the courthouse Saturday morning, May 4, Judge O. W. Schoengarth officiating. They were attended by the bride’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. James Kalas of the town of Washburn.

The bride wore a dress of pale pink crepe, and the groom wore a navy blue suit.

The groom was born in the town of Levis and has lived there all his life, and attended the rural school. Since completing school he has worked at home on the farm. The bride was born in Chicago and came to the town of Levis four years ago, also attending the rural school. She has always worked at home helping in the family tasks. They are an industrious young couple and have the good wishes of all who know them.

They have rented a farm across the road from the home of the groom’s parents and will begin housekeeping in the near future.
