Dus, Augusta (11 Aug. 1875 - 5 May 1935)

Mrs. Augusta Dus, nee Voight, was born August 11, 1875, in Pomern, Germany, and came with her parents to America in 1880. They settled near Watertown, Wis. She married Louis Dus of Milwaukee at Waukegan, Ill., about 27 years ago. Her husband died Jan. 18, 1913. They had a son, John Dus, who died March 10, 1913. Mrs. Dus and her son, Edward moved to Clark County in 1929.

Mrs. Dus died Sunday evening, May 5, 1935, at her home in the town of Seif.

She leaves to mourn her loss her son, Edward, her brother, William Voight, and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. August Halbrader, also five nieces and one nephew, a number of cousins and many friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 9th, at the Voight residence in the town of Seif and interment was made in the Seif Cemetery, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
