In the simply decorated chapel at the First Congregational church this morning at 10 o’clock, Miss Harriette Elizabeth Getz became the bride of Jacob Harold Hoesly. The Rev. Alfred W. Swan officiated.
The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Getz, 1326 Jenifer St., wore a white afternoon frock with white accessories, and she carried bouquet of pink roses. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Markus Hoesly, Sr., Neillsville, Wis.
Members of the immediate families were guests at the dinner given at the home of the bride’s parents, after which the young couple left for a wedding trip to the Apostle Islands. They will make their home at 181 S. State St., Neillsville, after June 15.
The bride was graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1930, and since that time has been on the faculty of the Neillsville High School. Mr. Hoesly was graduated from the chemistry department at Carroll College, and is now associated in the capacity of chemist with the Wisconsin Milk Pool at Neillsville, Wis. - Madison State Journal.
