Hartung, Elizabeth (Marriage - 17 June 1935)
On Monday morning at 9 o’clock, June 17, Mr. Frank Hainz and Miss Elizabeth Hartung were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Peter Weber, officiating.
The groom was attended by his brother, Edward Hainz and Miss Rosaline Hartung, sister of the bride was bridesmaid.
The bride wore a trailing gown of white satin crepe and carried an arm bouquet of white cala lilies. The bridesmaid wore a long gown of nile green satin crepe and carried an arm bouquet of tea roses. Both wore picture hates to match their gowns.
The groom and best man wore suits of dark blue.
A wedding dinner was given at the home of the bride’s parents at noon and a wedding dance was given to a large number of friends in the evening.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hartung in south Pine Valley. She grew up at the farm home and for some time was employed in Madison. She has been back home since early this spring. She has many friends in her home community.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hainz of the town of Grant, and is a young man of good habits and well liked by all, who know him.
The young couple left Tuesday afternoon for Milwaukee were the groom has employment and where they will make their home.
