Brown, Louis (June 30, 1872 - September 1, 1942)
Louis Brown passed away at the Marshfield Hospital at 7:45 a.m. on September 1, 1942, after an illness of only four days. He had attained the age of seventy.
Mr. Brown was born in Michigan June 30, 1872, to Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Brown. He had been a resident of Clark County since boyhood.
He was united in marriage to Ida Lubke 33 years ago. Three children were born to this union. Surviving are his wife and children: Herman Brown, Hazel (Elmer) Adams, Robert Brown, and a stepson, George Lubke, all of Neillsville, and two brothers and a sister, Elmer and Ellis Brown, Neillsville and Ethel Brown of Greenwood.
Mr. Brown was a farmer living in the Town of Weston until a few years ago when he purchased a home on North Grand Avenue in Neillsville, Wis.
