Alexander Brian Shirk, infant son of Dale and Candi Shirk, Neillsville, was stillborn on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Pine Grove Mennonite Cemetery, Granton.

Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Roger and Joan Buchholz, Neillsville; paternal grandparents, Aaron and Esther Shirk, Chili; Great-grandparents, Vivian Bohnsak, Neillsville, Richard and Viola Buchholz, Neillsville, and Ella Shirk, Pennsylvania; great-great-grandmother, Clara Hemp, Neillsville; aunts and uncles, Alan Buchholz, Neillsville, Laura Buchholz, Neillsville, Rosanne (Nelson) Eberly, Loyal, Loretta (Alvin Jr.) Musser, Memphis, Mo., Kathy (Leonard) Musser, Memphis, Mo., Kenny (Danita) Shirk, Neillsville, and Aaron (Dana) Shirk, Loyal; and many cousins.

Preceding him in death was one uncle, Brian Buchholz.
