Chas. Mackross employed by Nye, Lusk & Hudson near Boyd, spent Sunday last at his home with his family.
J. Adams killed a rattlesnake with six rattles near N. A. Courter's farm on Friday last. It is the first one seen in this neighborhood in several years.
J. W. Cirkel started for Chicago on Wednesday evening of last week to visit the fair. His wife, and daughter May, preceded him several days since.
Martin Schultz fell from a straw stack while a crew were threshing on S. Gorman's farm a few days ago sustaining serious injuries internally. He is getting better slowly.
O. K. Mosher and family have been visiting with T. O. Mosher and wife for several days. O. K. has recently sold out his business at Cartwright and will locate in Iowa.
