T.O. Mosher and wife started for Chicago to visit the World's Fair on Thursday last.

C. H. Sheldon and wife are visiting the great fair at Chicago this week, starting for Chicago on Friday last.

Wm. Walsdorf, Herman Holzhausen and Willie McGrogan started for Chicago on Sunday evening last to visit the great fair.

Several dwelling houses and a blacksmith shop were burned at Owlens' mill east of Withee on Thursday last, the fire coming in from the surrounding forest which had been burning several days.

There is a scarcity of granulated sugar. Our grocers are unable to obtain more than one barrel on a fifteen or twenty barrel order. The cause of the scarcity is the shutting down, for four weeks, of the sugar trust refineries, for the purpose of raising prices.
