Webster & Heagle will give a free dance at Gerbing's hall Saturday evening April 14th. Music will be furnished by Germania Orchestra. Everybody cordially invited.
The smoke stacks at Nye, Lusk & Hudson's mill and J. W. Cirkel & Sons stave factory are being supplied with spark catchers this week, a very necessary improvement by the way.
There will be a sociable at the residence of Mrs. Briggs, Thursday, April 12th. An invitation is extended to all. Syrup and ice cream will be served.................. Mrs. Minard, Sec.
Sweetie, the oldest daughter of Mrs. J. S. Boardman, was taken ill on Thursday last, her ailment being pronounced scarlet fever the following day, in consequence of which the school board deemed it best not to open school on Monday but give the children another week's vacation.
