An agent from Laport, Indiana, canvassed the town the past week for the noted Michael fanning mill and met with pretty fair success.

Abie Turner and wife have gone to keeping house.

G. L. Redmond and visited Granton Friday.

T. B. Philpott, of Loyal, was here Friday with a view of organizing a M.W.A. camp at this place.

Walter Graves gave his home a fresh coat of paint the past week, which adds greatly to its appearance.

On account of the rain the sociable was a fizzle.

W. W. Warner transacted business at the county seat Saturday.

Miss Florence Humiston, of Michigan, is visiting relatives in this vicinity.

Elder Hoffman occupied the pulpit in the Redmond Church Sunday.

A minstrel show will be give, by home talent, in the District No. 2 schoolhouse (Snyder school) next Wednesday evening. Admission 10 and 15 cents.

The I.O.G.T. hall was filled to its utmost capacity Monday night. O. W. Blaine’s speech was an arousing and enthusiastic one, and left a deep impression on a good many.
