Kleinsteck, Johanna H. (15 APR 1871 - 12 JAN 1908)
Mrs. Robert Kleinsteck of the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., died very suddenly at the home of her sister, Mrs. Wm. Jischkowski, in the town of Green Grove, last Sunday afternoon, Jan. 12th, 1908, where she with her husband an many other relatives were attending a birthday party.
The cause of death was rupture of the uterus during abnormal child birth, causing death from internal hemorrhage. Medical aid was summoned from this city, but the distance was so far it was impossible to reach there in time to save the lady’s life, and she passed away soon after the doctor’s arrival.
Deceased leaves, besides here husband and nine children, an aged mother, one brother, Fred Panke of this city, one sister, Mrs. Jischkowski, and many other relatives to mourn her death.
The funeral was held from Zion’s Lutheran Church in this city, Wednesday afternoon, and the large concourse that followed the remains to the cemetery gave proof of the high esteem in which she was held.
