Died, at her home in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., Thursday evening, June 11th, 1908, of heart failure, Bertha Auguste, beloved wife of William Buchholz, aged 51 years and 5 days.

Bertha Auguste Maria Wollenberg was born at Prenzlau, Brandenburg, Germany, June 6th, 1857. She immigrated to this country in the year 1869. In the year 1877, she was united in marriage with Mr. Wm. Buchholz, in Sheboygan Co., and the same year came to Colby and settled on the farm in the town where she continued to reside until her death. To this union were born five children, four of whom, with the husband and two grandchildren, survive her departure.

Deceased had been in poor health the past few months, yet was able most of the time to attend to household duties, even up to the time of her death. She had a wide circle of friends all of whom held her in high esteem and deeply sympathize with the bereaved family.

The funeral was held from Zion Lutheran Church, Monday afternoon, Rev. Carl Witschonke officiating.
