New Christmas Tree Law
Under the new state law anyone planning to cut Christmas tree or wood on land not owned by himself must notify the county clerk, giving description of the property, so the clerk can check his records to determine the owner of the property. Failure to comply with this law means a $25 fine of 20 days in jail.
