Dornenburg, Wilhelmina (31 MAY 1845 - 18 NOV 1909)

Died, at her home in Abbotsford, Wis., on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 18th, 1909, of apoplexy, Wilhelmina, beloved wife of Frederick Dornenburg, aged 64 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Deceased was born May 31st, 1845, at Kreis Dusseldorf in Germany. At the age of 14 she was confirmed in the faith of the Lutheran Church. On the 4th day of October, 1864, she was united in marriage to Frederick Dornenburg. Their union was blessed with six children, one son and five daughters, of which two daughters passed away. In the year 1868 she followed her husband to America, to Sheboygan Co., Wis., and the next year they moved to Superior, where they resided until 1878, when they moved to Marathon County, and resided on a farm until 1884, when they moved into Abbotsford, Wis. She leaves her husband, one son and three daughters to mourn her death.

The funeral was held from the Union Church in Abbotsford, on Monday, Conducted by Rev. Carl E. Schmidt of Spencer. The interment took place in Colby Cemetery.
