Salter, Elizabeth (23 OCT 1861 - 6 JAN 1910)
Miss Elizabeth Salter of West Bend, Wis., died at a hospital in Chicago, where she was taken sick while visiting her relatives, on Thursday, Jan. 6th, 1910, of pneumonia and blood poisoning. The funeral was held at West Bend, Jan. 8th.
Deceased was born in Jackson, Washington Co., Wis., Oct. 23rd, 1861. She was one of a family of thirteen children, the others are M.D. Salter, Trenton; John W. Salter, Unity; Robert Salter, deceased; Richard B. Salter, Colby, Clark Co., Wis.; William Salter, Chicago; Frank J. Salter, Prentice; Mrs. Mary Connell, Colgate; Mrs. Ella Willis, Chicago; T.W. Salter, Jackson; James Salter, Milwaukee; Mrs. Jennie Harris, St. Paul, and Samuel Salter, deceased. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Salter, preceded her to that better land several years ago.
Miss Salter was a frequent visitor to her brother’s family, in this city, and her friends here will join the Phonograph in expressions of sympathy to the sorrowing brothers and sisters.
