Sill, Hannah (24 JUN 1884 - 2 AUG 1910)

Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.) on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 2nd, 1910, from peritonitis due to rupture of an ovarian abscess, Hannah, beloved wife of Mr. Frank Sill, aged 26 years, 1 month and 9 days.

Hannah Hopp was born in Germany on June 24th, 1884. She came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hopp, in 1892. Although her parents lived here, Hannah made her home with her aunt, Mrs. John Biell, who brought her up from a small child. She was married to Frank Sill on May 4th, 1903, and with the exception of about one year spent in Minneapolis, where her husband engaged in the street car service, has always resided in Colby. She was a lady beloved by all who knew her, and her many friends were shocked to learn of her sudden death, many not knowing that she had been sick. She leaves to mourn her early death, besides her husband and little son, her parents, three sisters and four brothers, all living in Oregon, except one sister, Mrs. Fred Baumgart of this city.

The funeral will be held from St. John’s Evangelical Church, Sunday morning at ten o’clock, Rev. Bizer officiating.
