Tucker, Frank T. (? - 1 SEP 1910)

Frank T. Tucker, one of the candidates on the Republican ticket for attorney general, committed suicide by jumping into the river at Oshkosh last Thursday morning. He had been at Oshkosh attending a meeting in the course of his canvass through the state, and the only reason for his committing the deed was the fact that his name had been connected with the enveloping scandal at Madison. He had worked very hard during the last few weeks and there is no doubt that the state of his health and the worry from assaults made upon him in relation to the affair at Madison, prompted him to take his own life. Mr. Tucker was a resident of this county (Clark Co., Wis.) for many years and was well known throughout this section of the country. His remains were taken to Neillsville, Clark Co. for burial last Sunday.
