Meyers, Alma (28 OCT 1909)
The home of Henry Meyers was the scene of a very pretty wedding, Thursday evening at 8 o’clock, when Rev. Behrendt, in the presence of a large number of relatives and intimate friends, spoke the sacred words which bound together in holy wedlock, Alma, second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers, and Richard Kalk. The bride was attired in white silk, bridal wreath and roses. She was attended by Mayme Meyers, Edna Ramming and Selma Karstedt, who were attired in white and wore pink carnations. The groom was attended by Aug. Gosse, Herbert Meyers and Willie Plutte.
The rooms and tables were elaborately and tastefully decorated with autumn leaves and bells.
The groom is a highly respected and prosperous, young farmer of Howards Grove, Sheboygan Co. The bride was born and reared in this community and counts every acquaintance a friend, who all join in wishing them a friend, who all join in wishing them a long and happy journey through life. They will reside at Howards Grove.
