Last Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Hugo Frome and Miss Emma Stock were united in marriage at Zion Lutheran Church , by Rev. C.C. Hartenstein, in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends. The bride was attended by the Misses Nora Wachsmuth of Curtiss, Della Donaldson of Abbotsford, Helen Schoelzel of Colby, and the groom by Messrs. Ferdinand Laabs of Curtiss, Otto and Eddie Stock, brothers of the bride. The bride and bridesmaids were dressed in white and carried carnations.
After the ceremonies at the church the happy couple and guests drove to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Stock, in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., where a reception and the usual wedding festivities were held. They were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents.
They are two leading young people of the town of Colby and the Phonograph joins their friends in well wishes.
