Pfc. James Kittle, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Pollack of Colby, was promoted to Spec. 4 during the first week of March. Kittl is stationed at Phu Bri in Vietnam and is a helicopter mechanic.

Mrs. Bernard Geiger, route 2, Colby, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Sunday for physical therapy.

Don Drier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Drier, was discharge from the U.S. Army recently at Fort Bliss, Texas. He arrived Sunday at Central Wisconsin Airport, where he was met by his parents.

Visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Drier were Mr. and Mr.s Robert Drier and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Setinback, all of Jump River.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kauffman and children moved to Sheldon on March 19. They are engaged in farming there.
