Eda Peterson, a senior at Colby High School, has been selected under the summer
program sponsored by the school club, "Youth for Understanding." She is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Peterson of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.).
Miss Peterson will make her home in Sweden.
During her high school years, she has been an active member in this club. This
year she is the president of Youth for Understanding Club.
Personal qualifications required to become an exchange student are a good
scholastic record, active participation in school, church and community affairs,
willingness to give the time for preparation, and acceptance of responsibility
for her own conduct.
Under the Youth for Understanding program at Colby High School, Trinket Monsod
is present a foreign exchange student for the 1970-71 school year. She came to
Colby from the Philippines, and is presently a junior in high school.
