Mr. and Mrs. Mark Carpenter are the parents of a daughter born Friday, March 19, 1971 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. The new arrival weighed seven pounds, none ounces at birth, and has been named Deanna Mae. She joins one brother, Neal, at home.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carpenter, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hoernke, Colby. Her three uncles are David, Dale and Ron Hoernke. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weix, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoernke, Spencer.
